Start Moving Better

I'm a Berlin-based movement coach specialising in flexibility, mobility, yoga, and Pilates. I teach group classes across Berlin at renowned studios and offer private sessions in person or online, wherever you are.

I don't come from a dance or gymnastics background. I grew up hearing that if you didn't start ballet or gymnastics as a kid, you'd never be able to do the splits as an adult. That's simply not true — and proving it wrong is a big part of why I do this.

I started practising yoga at 17, and after years of practice I touched my toes and did my first wheel — moments that felt like opening a new door. I completed several yoga teacher trainings, but the truth is, I didn't really understand how flexibility worked yet. I'd hit a wall and couldn't make progress no matter how much I practised.

So I went looking for answers. Weekly flexibility classes, private coaches, different methods — piecing together what actually makes a body change. Everything I teach is something I learned as an adult, in an adult body. That search is what shaped the way I teach today.

Hi, I'm İlayda — glad you're here!

You're in the right place if...

  • You sit at a desk all day, and your body is starting to remind you.

  • You're new to flexibility and mobility and want to start the right way.

  • You've been stretching on your own but stopped seeing results.

  • You want to feel strong and flexible — not one at the expense of the other.

  • You've been told to "strengthen around it" but nobody showed you how.

  • You already have a practice and want to go deeper — more range, more control, more awareness.

Who Is This For?

A woman with light skin and brown hair in a black, sheer long-sleeve top, black shorts, and black tights, with her hair styled to one side, performing a yoga pose, bending at the waist and holding her left foot with her left hand, while her right hand is extended over her head, against a brick wall background and a reflective surface underneath.

Built around your body.
No two bodies are the same — different movement histories, different anatomy, different goals. That's why every session starts with where you are, not where a programme says you should be. Whether you're sitting at a desk all day or already deep into a practice, the work meets you exactly where you are.

Active flexibility, real strength.
This isn't passive stretching or holding a position until something gives. We build the flexibility you can actually control — through mobility drills, loaded movements, and learning to own the positions you're opening. You'll leave not just more flexible, but stronger in your new range.

Your nervous system leads.
Range doesn't come from pushing harder. It comes from your body deciding a position is safe. We work with your breath and your nervous system — learning to notice the difference between sensation and warning, to regulate instead of force. Flexibility training, done this way, is one of the most intimate ways to build trust in your own body.

Progress is built, not left to chance.
Every session has a reason. You'll always know what we're working on and why. This isn't about being naturally flexible — it's about smart, consistent work that adds up. Your progress is programmed, tracked, and real.

My Approach

Common Questions

I'm extremely stiff. Is this too advanced for me?

1

Not at all — stiff beginners are exactly who I work with most. Every session is built around where your body is right now, not where you think it should be. You don't need to prepare for this.

2

How long until I see progress?

Small changes within weeks, meaningful ones over months. Flexibility isn't a quick fix, but when the method is right and you're consistent, progress is real and lasting. That's the whole premise.

Do I need equipment for online sessions?

3

A mat and a wall. If you have blocks or a strap, useful but not essential. I programme around what you have.

4

What languages do you teach in?

English, German and Turkish.

5

What happens in a private session?

We start with what's going on in your body that day, then work through a session built around your goals — flexibility, mobility, strength, or a combination. Every session is different because your body is different every time.

What's the difference between online and in-person?

6

The quality of attention is the same. In-person allows me to adjust you physically. Online gives you the flexibility to train from anywhere. Both work — it depends on what fits your life.

How do I cancel or reschedule?

Send me an email at least 24 hours before your session for a full refund or to reschedule. Cancellations under 24 hours and no-shows are non-refundable.
